What those black streaks actually are

Algae. Specifically Gloeocapsa magma, which feeds on the limestone filler used in asphalt shingles and thrives in warm, humid air. Orlando gives it both for most of the year.

It usually starts on north-facing slopes and under tree cover, where the surface stays damp longest, and runs downward in streaks because the colonies wash down the slope with rain.
